Games Are Around the Corner

The locker room is a pretty entertaining place to be both before and after practice. Everyone on the squad gets along with each other and the attitude in the room is usually on the happy side. Whether it is someone cracking a joke, someone trying to “teach me how to dougie”, or even someone just simply telling a short story about their day, we all are not afraid to listen to each other and share laughs one with one another. Back to the business, however, the Trinity Tigers basketball team is about two and a half weeks into practice.  Practices are non-stop for about two and a half hours. We are getting a lot done on the court when everyone brings the intensity consistently and want to work to get better. As I said in my last blog, games are around the corner. Only now, they are literally right around the corner as we head out to TLU this weekend (Saturday specifically) to play the Bulldogs in a scrimmage to start the season off. It’ll be good for us because we get to finally play in an actual game as well as see where we are at in terms of how we are able to compete with the teams we will be playing down the road.
